These rooms are very similar in that they are teaching children skills that are essentially used for the remainder of their lives. They will learn to observe, plan, negotiate, evaluate and follow through with ideas and decisions. While teaching children to observe the world around them, educarers are also incidentally teaching the children to read and write, and carry out simple mathematics, problem solving and science skills. These are important lessons to have before beginning formal education.
